@theapollobox was kind enough to send me a Tesla Coil 10 music box and give me an opportunity to write a review of this unique product. It arrived with all necessary components included and was about 95% assembled on arrival. There are two control knobs (frequency and power) and a switch that allows you to sync the pulses via Bluetooth to music OR have a constant spark. I did not find the music option to be impressive. The clear acrylic body is aesthetically appealing and adds a streamlined, high tech component to your decor. The spark produced is lovely to look at. You can touch the spark, it is not painful but feels warm to touch. The device cannot be operated in close proximity to other flammable objects and should have ample space around it. Upon doing some further reading online, I learned that touching the needle can potentially cause burns so supervision is suggested around small children or animals. The most fun aspect for me was finding out that the device has the power to light up a fluorescent tube light bulb which is not even attached or touching the box or the spark. It also comes with two small bulbs one is red and the other green which will light up when held near the device. The worst feature of the product for me is the noise that comes with the sparking. It is nearly continuous and quite loud. This is not a lamp-type product that you can leave in while watching TV or reading peacefully. My animals are sensitive to noise and were terrified to be near it. I attempted to see if a relaxed calm dog would experience it differently so I took the device to a friend’s home but the result was the same. Her dogs were also frightened. While I don’t think this is a great product for my household, I think it’s a wonderful product for educational demonstration or for those interested in electronics/electricity/technology/science. I received the Tesla Music Box free of charge in exchange for an honest review. These are my honest thoughts after playing with it for a week. The music box arrived about a week ago, very well packaged, and the build quality is solid. There were a couple of steps to set things up, no more than a minute or two, and I turned it on. First, non-music mode - the Tesla bolts look VERY cool, especially in the dark, and it was fun for me and my kids to direct the bolts with our finger tips and to see the (included) light bulbs start to glow and blink wirelessly! Downside - in this mode, as the bolts charge and dissipate, there is a very loud clacking sound. You definitely won't be putting this on as a night light! In music mode, pairing the box with my phone was super simple, and the instructions came with a QR code taking you to a site where you could play "square" music for best effect; I loved watching the bolts flicker and dance in this mode! Note, when on, there is a definite smell of ozone, just like in a thunderstorm. Personally I kind of liked it, but be aware. Overall a very cool gadget that I will enjoy showing off to friends and family.

This is truly one of the coolest tech I've bought. I'm having so much fun with it now xdd
