For what I am using it for, lighting the underside of my diamond paintings to place them easier, it is wonderful. I was a little confused by the directions that came with it though. It showed a second button for dimming or brightening the table, but it actually only has the power button to do it by. Which is fine, it works like it should. It is very flat, perfect for drawing on as well, and it is so easy to store.
